Reiki Shares

PranaDevi Energetics is now excited to be providing yet another service for our graduated Reiki students: monthly Reiki Shares!

The Shares

All shares will begin with a meditation to create an atmosphere conducive to healing work. Next a mini-workshop covering a new energetic healing technique will be presented. Some time will be then be taken to give everyone the chance to experiment with the method on others. This section of the Reiki Share will take up approximately the first hour of the afternoon. Once the mini-workshop is concluded, the general Reiki Share will begin where participants will pair off to practice their Reiki and intuitive energetic healing methods. This is also a great time to experiment with intuitive and creative flow within the treatment context. There will be one to two treatment "flip-flops" where the recipient will then take the role as healer and visa-versa! A small concluding grouding meditation to help facilitate alert and wakeful consciousness, as well as dedicate any excess energies for the benefit of all sentient beings, will take place before departure. Should demand necessitate, a second Reiki Share in each month may be added for the convenience and benefit of all!

Perks of Attendance

Many of the techniques presented in the mini-workshops will be material that is part of our in-depth Reiki III Master-Teacher Training Program, and regular attendance at the shares will fulfill some of the requirements for the ongoing training part of the program. Students interested in eventually pursuing their Reiki IIIMT degree through PDE's program may request a logsheet to keep track of what workshops they have attended, in order to acquire "transfer credits" into their training schedule at a later date. These logsheets may be kept by students of ANY level of training and do not expire. Reiki Shares also provide a safe environment where practitioners can feel free to try out new methods, or just to experiment with letting their creative intuition guide the treatment more freely. For new practitioners this is a excellent way to gain a deeper understanding of your individual "intuitive vocabulary". The Reiki Shares are a fantastic place to experience the benefits of energy work firsthand, and to take some time to facilitate your own healing journey. Lay back, relax, and allow yourself to be treated to a bath of restoring White Light! Treatments that last 60 minutes qualify as Canadian Reiki Association Case-Studies, and can be used towards earning one's CRA designation! Case-Study forms will be provided at each share.

Attendance Details

The Reiki Shares are only open to graduated students of the PranaDevi Energetics training program. Shares will be held once a month, unless demand dictates otherwise, in which case they may be held semi-monthly. Due to the limited space in the PDE Healing Studio, Reiki Shares are open to the first 5 people RSVPing for attendance. Those attending should bring a meditation cushion, yoga mat, pillow or other comfortable items to sit/lay upon should all massage tables and chairs be taken. A $10 donation is requested to cover the cost of the mini-workshop, printed materials, and studio supplies. All graduated students will be placed on a mailing list where Reiki Share dates and times will be announced.
