PranaDevi Energetics' Healing Modalities

Devi has trained in several different complimentary energetic modalities to provide the most synergistic healing experience possible for her clients. Knowing a variety of methods for working with energy, and the strengths and weaknesses of each technique, can help her to fine-tune each treatment to facilitate the most beneficient releases and rejuvinating effects. The primary modalities utilized here at PranaDevi Energetics are briefly outlined below for your convenience.

Usui Reiki Reiki is a hands-on healing technique that originated in Japan. It is non-invasive, has no contraindications and does not require the client to disrobe. Reiki has been clinically proven to reduce stress, aid in pain management, speed recovery from illness and surgery, and mentally support those coping with traumatic life changes and issues. In Europe, hospitals in many countries are staffing Reiki Masters regularly, as they have found them to be indespensible. Surgeons request their presence during high-risk operations, as patients who are supported by Reiki energy during surgery require less anaestheic to keep them under, less pain medicine afterwards, and a faster discharge with fewer complications overall! Following suit, some North American hospitals have begun running Reiki clinics to scientifically document the effects. Insurance companies in Europe and the United States are also beginning to provide limited covereage for Reiki treatments. The positive effects of Reiki are becoming common knowledge in the mainstream, and we here at PranaDevi Energetics couldn't be more pleased! During a Reiki treatment, the client lays on either a massage table, or a yoga mat while the Reiki Master asseses their energetic field and then begins the treatment. A Reiki treatment consists mainly of the healer moving her hands through a series of traditional positions on the body. These hand-positions correspond to the major energetic centers and pathways in the body, called chakras and meridians in Eastern medicine. There is little to no pressure applied by the hands, and at some points the healer may lift them off the body's surface to work in the auric field. All that is required of the client during the treatment is that they close their eyes, relax and open themselves to the experience. The most commonly reported experience during a treatment is a profound sense of peace and relaxation that often lasts for days after a treatment. Other clients may slip into a light-trance or dreamlike state where memories or vivid daydreams may dance before them. Often these visions hold a key to one's current state of health and mind, and can serve as a powerful form of constructive introspection. Our Reiki treatments are not only an effective way to heal your body, mind and spirit, but they are an amazing way to treat yourself and relax!

Ruach Healing Ruach Healing is a method of energy healing that is based in the Western mystical tradition of the Qabalah. Ruach is the Hebrew word for 'breath' and 'spirit'. Ruach is the breath of God and is synonymous with Life. It is the same divine animating force called prana and chi in other cultures. By studying the central glyph of the Qabalah, The Tree of Life, the various aspects of mind-body-soul and their relationship to the Earth, the Universe, and the Divine can be understood more directly. In Ruach Healing, the knowledge of these subtle, but powerful connections between various levels of existance as expounded in the Hebrew mystical tradition of the Qabalah are put to work through an energetic healing session based on these same principals. This form of energywork is more dynamic than many modalities such as Reiki. The recipient will likely hear the practitioner engaging in intense breathwork, and slapping their hands together in order to rid themselves of released energies. Ruach Healing is a no-touch system of healing, that works entirely in the energetic atmospheres above and around the physical body.

Intuitive & Angelic Guidance

Intuitive gifts of clairvoyance, clairsentience, and claircognizance run through the women of Devi's family. These skills allow her to get a strong sense of what energies may be playing into the circumstance of those she works with, and also to more clearly discern what actions will promote the greatest healing at that given time. Over the past few years, Devi has been closely guided and directly aided in her intuitive healing work by Archangels Michael and Raphael. During a typical session, the presence of the Archangels will be requested silently as a treatment begins. The angels appear, and often begin by providing Devi with information during energetic assessments to help hone in on key issues for the healing to address. During sessions they may also prompt Devi to guide the recipent through visualizations, or healing breath work. The Archangel Raphael, known as the "universal physician" joins the healing sessions to lend aid and energy, and often brings many other angels of healing with him. For deep purification, transformation of energy, cord-cutting, and other such operations, the Archangel Michael steps in to lend the healing aid of his fiery sword. He and his angel warriors of protection also guard the sanctity of each healing.

Crystal Healing Crystal healing is sometimes referred to today as the 'laying on of stones', and is a very popular modality of vibrational energywork. During crystal healing sessions stones will be placed on the body, and may also be placed around the client to create a vortex of crystal energy. At certain points during the session, the healer may intuitively feel that other crystals need to be added or taken away, or even manipulated over the body's surface in the energetic field. Each type of stone and crystal carries a different energetic vibration, and by placing these on the body, areas that are out-of-tune can be brought back into the proper vibration. When used for healing the stones contribute their own unique vibrations and spiritual attributes to the session. Many client's report deep introspective or visionary experiences having been triggered at the moment when a crystal was placed onto them during a treatment.

Flower & Gem Essences Vibrational essences can work to subtly bring changes into one's environment, body, and spirit by introducing the energies of a specific plant, crystal, or other energetic influence into one's immediate surroundings. Flower remedies are the most common and popular of the vibrational essences, and some lines are readily available at most good health food stores. Gem and crystal essences as harder to find, but are equally powerful in their effects. What is so incredible about vibrational essences is that it allows an individual to experience the healing power of a flower or gem without having to either take large qualities of that herb, or constantly wear a crystal. That makes them convenient and easy to use. They also work gently, having no contraindications, meaning that they can safely be used when other therapies cannot. By preparing an essence that resonates with the intended purpose of a healing ritual, it can be utilized to help charge sacred space, misted within the aura to encourage the manifestation of the wanted attributes, or may even be taken internally to bring those vibrations into the physical body. Often today people find themselves in a situation where they must take a daily medication to address a serious health concern, but these medicines can often have troubling side-effects. Other people may have a more complex disorder to requires them to take several medications, but still leaves them suffering from lingering symptoms that remain unaffected. These types of people have very limited options open to them for alleviating their continuing issus, without risking a negative and harmful drug interaction. Vibrational essences can work on relieving many of these discomforts, without risking any contraindication with the necessary allopathic medications! Vibrational essences are made by placing the flower or gem into fresh spring water and allowing the subtle vibrations of it permeate and "program" the water. This charged water, now a vibrational essence, is then bottled with a small amount of preservative (to prevent the water from becomnig stagnant), and several drops taken internally over the course of each day. The essence can also be misted into the aura or the air to help bring the desired effects into the surrounding energies and atmosphere. Flower or gem essences can be utilized in several ways during an Intuitive Energetic Bodywork session. They can be misted into the air around the treatment area to prepare the space with a specific healing vibration, or can be misted throughout the aura of the client. In most cases, Devi can suggest a flower or gem essence that would complement the energetic work being done, in order to maintain the balance and positive changes that have taken place during a treatment. Sending a client home with a water bottle containing such an essence is also a common event after an Intuitive Energetic Bodywork session.

Sound Healing

The power of sound has been recognized since the dawn of time, with various instruments being used to create drones and other pulsating music intended to facilitate the listeners' spiritual evolution as well as physical health. From the digeridoo, tribal drumming, Tibetan singing bowls, and mantric chanting to the more modern therapeutic soundscapes created by blending organic sound with sythesized frequencies unattainable by other methods, sound therapy can take many different forms. By using certain frequencies of sound, vibrations within the energy body can be brought into harmony through the application of resonance. This allows the healer to immerse a participant in the desired therapeutic vibrations by filling the treatment room, and thereby the aura, subtle bodies and physical body with the needed frequency. During some of our Intuitive Energetic Bodywork sessions and Healing Rituals here at PranaDevi Energetics, we will utlize guided vocal toning and chanting, as well as recorded soundscapes intentionally created for healing purposes. Toning and chanting along with the client helps free up stagnant energies, and invoke a healthy and vibrant vibration that can encourage greater healing and manifestation of postitive change.
