All of our Certification Courses from the Usui lineage present the traditional material that is universally taught in Reiki courses world-wide. Some additional material may also be offered for the benefit of the student's overall success, but such material will always be identified so that there is a clear delineation between the universal and the complimentary information. Our classes are crafted to meet the demanding Canadian Reiki Association's high standards for quality Reiki eduction. We teach in classes limited to 6 or fewer people, so that each class may cater to each student's individual pace and needs, and all their specific questions and concerns can be attended to in-depth and not glossed over as may sometimes occur in larger group settings. Our student's well-being and overall comfort are of utmost importance to us and so we strive to anticipate special circumstances that may arise. Reiki Certifications very often meet Continuing Education Credit criteria for various therapeutic and healthcare provider governing organizations. If you are a massage therapist, nurse, or other healthcare provider, check with your board for outlines of what meets your CEU requirements - a Reiki Certification will very likley fit the bill!! There are three levels of instruction:

Usui Reiki I Certifications Usui Reiki Level I Certification- This is the introductory level of Reiki healing. During this course you will learn the history of Reiki and Dr. Usui, the Reiki Principles, the traditional hand positions, an introduction to the human chakra system, and various methods of assessing and clearing a client's energy field imbalances. After all the material has been imparted, the student will receive her Level I Reiki attunement and be given ample time to practice hands-on with the Reiki Master. Usui Reiki I Outline: * The history and development of Usui Reiki * The Reiki parable, and the Reiki principals * Information on the 21-day post-attunement cleanse * The concept of compassionate detachment * Basic mindfulness meditation * Introductory chakra theory * Proper treatment preparation and procedure * Grounding and Centering meditation * Energetic assessment (manual and dowsing) * Energetic Protection and Spiritual Hygiene * The traditional Reiki hand positions for treating yourself, and others A certificate acknowledging one's acheivement of a Reiki Level I Practitioner will be awarded at the conclusion of the in-person portion of the course. All manuals, attunements, (as well as the optional enrolment in the 12-week ongoing online training) and the official practitioner certificate are included in the price of the course.

Usui Reiki II Certifications Usui Reiki Level II Certification- This second level of Reiki instruction delves into the Reiki symbols that allow the healer to "tune" the Reiki energy's frequency to work on mental and emotional dis-eases directly and more intensely, and also allows the healer to perform distance healings. During this class the student will be instructed in physically writing the Reiki symbols as well as visualizing them and correct pronunciation. Plenty of hands-on practice time will be given to master the Reiki symbol usage. Usui Reiki II Outline * The "power" symbol * The "emotional/mental healing" symbol * The "distance healing symbol" * Various distance healing methods * Expanded uses of the Reiki symbols * Meditations with Reiki energy * Overview of intermediate healing methods * Futher mindfulness meditations This course includes a Level II attunement and a certificate acknowledging one's achievement of Level II Reiki Practitioner status. All manuals, attunements (as well as the optional enrolment in the ongoing 8-week online training), and certificates are covered in the cost of the course.

COMING IN JANUARY 2009!! Usui Reiki Level III, Master-Teacher Certification Training Program- This comprehensive training program will ready the student to take their Reiki healing practice to the final level, and enable them to proficiently and responsibly train others in this elegant healing art. PranaDevi Energetics' Usui Reiki III Master-Teacher Certification Training Program involves several different areas of intermediate/advanced training, and requires engagement in a personal healing journey, as well as numerous case-studies on behalf of the aspiring practitioner. These help ensure that a depth and breadth of advanced skill and experience are pursued and integrated the student's practice prior to taking on the mantle of Usui Reiki Master-Teacher. Students in the Usui Reiki III Master-Teaching Training Program will be required to take 3 of the 4 Advanced Energetic Education courses as part of the cirriculum: * Enhancing Subtle Energetic Awareness & Manipulation - Required * Energetic Protection & Hygiene for Healers - Required * Japanese Reiki Techniques & Exercises - Elective * Neo-Reiki Practices for Healing, Meditation, & Abundance - Elective Certificates of Completion will be issued at the end of each class, and these courses ARE open to practitioners of other modalities. As per the Canadian Reiki Association's standards, students will also be required to also take a course in Small Business Accumen & Marketing for Holistic Health & Wellness Practitioners. Part of being a adept healer is having personal experience to draw from, and having undergone in-depth healing journies is part and parcel of facilitating others through their own. Program participants will be required to undertake a Personal Healing Process Unit, that consists of no less than 10 healing sessions with an energetic practitioner of their choosing. (Substantial discounts will be provided to students who undergo their Personal Healing Process at PranaDevi Energetics.) At the conclusion of thier treatment, students will be asked to compose an analysis of their Personal Healing Process, with special emphasis on how the experience will impact their own healing practice. Each student will also be responsible for providing a Body of Case-Studies detailing thier ongoing healing work with current clients. At least 25 case-studies on no more than 5 individuals will be required (5 treatments on each individual for a total of 25) to fulfill this unit. The final component of PranaDevi Energetics' Usui Reiki III Master-Teacher Program is comprised of the Usui Reiki III training itself - where the student learns how to attune and teach others the Usui Reiki system of healing. This last step in only undertaken after all other units in the Program have been completed. At the conclusion of this very comprehensive Training Program, students will be fully certified Usui Reiki III Master-Teachers and be more than capable of supporting and maintaining a professional healing and teaching practice of their own!
